Is your entire product range displayed online?

Buywright is proud to offer an extensive and fast growing range of product categories and individual stock lines. However, not all of our product range is displayed online. Please contact us if you would like us to locate a specific outdoor power product for you.

What does 'Special Items Bought In' mean?

Special items bought in are products or items which Buywright does not ordinarily keep in stock (a non-stocked item). These items will need to be specially ordered in from our supplier just to fullfil your order. If this is the case, the lead time is dependent on the availability of the product with the supplier and may take longer than 3-5 working days to arrive. If you have clicked onto this item and created a purchase, one of our team will contact you immediately and advise the delays and ask whether you still wished this item to be placed on ‘Back Order Supply’. In most cases our refund and returns policy excludes ‘Special Items Bought In’ as we will be unable to return these items to our supplier. This purchase classification will be noted on your invoice.

 
What does ‘Out of Stock’, ‘Back Order’ or ‘Rain Check’ mean?

From time to time we run out of inventory. These Items are normally a ‘stocked item’ and will be ‘Back Ordered’ from our supplier to meet your order commitment. However as quite a number of items we sell are sourced from overseas, these delayed delivery times can sometimes be quite long. A Team member will advise you of this situation. Our standard terms of trade cover these items. Once your order has been ‘Locked In’, accepted and paid for, the final price delivery will not alter.

Why can product pricing differ?

Product pricing on Buywright may differ to those prices shown on the same item in store. This can occur due to supply, freighting options and promotional timing. Buywright is a standalone division of Wrights Outdoor Equipment Centre. Buywright reserves the right to determine the correct price is paid, without consequence. All pricing is in New Zealand dollars (NZD) and unless stated otherwise will include NZ Govt. Goods and Services Tax (GST) of 15%.


What if the product has been discontinued or withdrawn?

As part of our on-going product update and revision policy, we may revise, withdraw and/or discontinue products at any time without notice, The customer accepts that Buywright’s policy may result in slight differences between the specification of products displayed and the exact specification of products delivered to the customer. We will ensure any revised or updated products will match the functionality and performance of the products ordered. As some product images are designed to cater for the global market and where New Zealand local content has been specified, some product images may differ slightly from that same product offered in New Zealand. Errors and mistakes made on Buywright?

All effort is made to ensure pricing, product specification and any other information displayed on Buywright is accurate and up to date. However, on the odd occasion inadvertent errors can occur. Buywright reserves the right, without consequence, to decline orders arising from such errors. We encourage feedback about our website on any of our products, services and accessories. Please feel free to contact us if you feel we may have overlooked any information.


Use of Trademarks and Copyright

Logo copyright names and trademarks are at the heart of what we do and sell. Unauthorised use of any brand logos or material on the Buywright site may violate copyright, trademark or other laws. If any of these terms are breached, authorisation to use this site is automatically terminated and any downloaded or printed materials must be destroyed immediately. Your rights as a customer, NZ Consumer Guarantees Act (NZCGA) – short version

Your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (NZCGA), your product must:

• Be durable for as long as most people would expect that kind of product to last.
• Be fit for its purpose – do all the normal things that people would expect that kind of product to do.
• Be free of minor and major faults.
• Do what you are told it does, including anything you are told about the product and anything written on the box or in advertising material.
• Arrive in a reasonable time frame (if it is delivered) and be in a good and undamaged condition.
• You must be a personal and private domestic consumer. Professional, business users are not covered by the NZCGA.

Please Note: if you change your mind, or find a product at a cheaper price elsewhere, or if you order/procure an item or part which is incorrectly chosen by yourself, you have no rights or remedy under the NZ Consumer Guarantees Act.

If you think a product you have purchased from us does not comply with the guarantees under the NZCGA and you experience a problem with the product, you may be entitled to a remedy under the NZCGA. Where the failure is not serious, at our discretion, we may choose to repair, replace or refund the cost of the product. Where the failure is serious or makes the product unsafe, you can choose a repair, a replacement, a refund or to keep the goods (in which case we will pay you an amount to cover the product’s loss of value).

If you discover a fault or failure in your product, you can contact Buywright for further assistance. Where the failure is serious, you must contact us immediately on 09 4795545 or as soon as possible after you discover the failure otherwise you may lose your right to a refund or replacement. If Buywright deems the item can be repaired, you must also give us a reasonable time to repair the failure. Requesting a remedy under the NZCGA may be refused, after the product has been returned and dealt with, as we do not have to cover the cost of a repair if you do not contact us about the failure of the product first. It is in our interest that you are completely satisfied with your purchase, if you have any misgivings whatsoever, always contact us or phone 09 4795545.

What is your content access policy?

Buywright authorises you to view and download the materials on this website only for your personal, non-commercial use, provided that you retain all copyright and other proprietary notices contained in the original materials on any copies of the materials. We will not hold customer details for longer than is required for the purpose for which the information was originally gathered and lawfully used.

We will ensure that security safeguards protect the information and we will take all reasonable steps to ensure that information will not be disclosed to any unauthorised person or organisation. We will not disclose any personal information about you to a person, body, or an agency that is not entitled to obtain this information. We do not share your details with third party companies, with the exception of your delivery details with courier companies. Such companies and individuals will have access to specific personal information required to make deliveries, but may not use your details for any other purposes.

You are entitled to obtain from us confirmation as to whether or not we hold such personal information and you shall have access to this information. It is necessary for you to register your details with us in order to place online purchases through our website and to register your warranty details.
