It has greater torque capability due to its heavier flywheel & Japanese design than similar sized alternative engines.Briggs & Stratton OHV engine. It can handle mulching sticks, branches, hedge clippings, brush and more, while the rotary flail knives shred up softer foliage, vegetable waste, paper, leaves, vegetables, seaweed, and vines.

Ideal for: average to large home gardens or small lifestyle block properties. Handles a good range of materials including branches, bamboo, and vines.
