How long will it take to get my order?
We use CourierPost for the majority of our small sachet/courier bag deliveries as they operate on a nationwide service when using their sachet/courier bags, with the exception of rural delivery addresses. Cartons, boxed ticketed, bulk or heavy items take a little longer.
For general small sachet/courier bag items, orders dispatched usually will take between 1-3 working days for delivery.
For some of our bulkier products, these will be outside the parameters of Courierpost. We will most likely use either Mainfreight or Daily Freight nation-wide delivery service. Due to the nature and size of these products, delivery can take a little longer and is typically 3-5 working days from when we dispatch. Wood Fires, due to their weight, can only be delivered by special ‘Tail-Gate’ lifters fitted to available trucks. This can add extra time to deliveries.
In every case we will send you a dispatch email once we have processed your order, which will include the track and trace number from the delivery company we are using.
What are your dispatch and shipping times?
Please note: Statutory Holidays must be considered when placing an order. These will extend the normal delivery times.
Do you have click and instore pickup?
General finished goods orders are generally available for store collection within 2 hours of placing the order. However if we are in an out-of-stock position, we will notify you of the delivery expectation time by text, email or phone. We will re-contact you once your order is ready to collect.
How much will it cost to ship my order?
At Buywright we aim to get your order to you as fast as possible, for the least possible freight cost. We use NZ Courier Post standard ‘sachet/courier-bag’ for shipping of small items. For bulky, large, oversized and extremely heavy products, our shipping charges reflect the true size and weight combination formula of the item you are ordering, based on the freight company’s physical weight and volumetric size of the product. For this reason we have varying rates for different products. Please choose freight costs in the shopping cart section and select your province or area at check-out/invoice time. Click re-calculate to give you our best estimate for the shipping cost. This will be a close guide and an estimate only. Accurate shipping costs will be made clear to you by separate email if different from the shopping cart check-out invoice. You will have the option to continue or forgo the transaction. If the freight estimate is different from the invoice, nothing will be processed until we gain your authority. If the freight cost is unchanged, we will continue to process your order in the normal way.
Please note: all rural freight delivery addresses will attract a Rural Delivery surcharge.
Freight estimates on all provisional invoices are to the registered freight company depot address, closest to the customers delivery address and to most metropolitan addresses. Freight companies reserve the right to charge a surcharge where they deem necessary. This will be notified to the customer prior to dispatch and will be added onto the transaction total.
General items of up to 3Kg will cost the price of the Courier Pack, plus an automatic charge of $1.50 will be added for Track and Trace (metropolitan areas only).
All non-courier packs, South Island deliveries will have an additional 25% cost to North Island pricing estimate.
Shipping to Rural (R.D.) or Islands?
Includes all addresses deemed outside a ‘Standard Metropolitan Area’ by the freight company. As this can be seen as a one off, Taxi or boat ride delivery service, costs may seem rather high.
We use NZ Courier Post for our small item deliveries (NZ Courier Post sachet/bags). We use Daily Freight / Mainfreight for all medium to large and heavy items. For obvious reasons, we prefer to use the Track and Trace system to guarantee a smooth delivery. This option is an automatic additional $1.50 cost to all sachet/courier bag freight pricing. However the customer can opt-out of this service. The final delivery and ownership responsibility will then fall to the customer and the courier company. With no Track and Trace option, Buywright’s guaranteed delivery obligation will cease at dispatch. Once you have received email notification that your order has been dispatched and you have been supplied with a tracking number, you are able to track your item via the Track and Trace section of the courier post or Mainfreight websites: NZ Courier Post or Mainfreight
For large and/or heavy item deliveries, you will be contacted by our delivery team to pre-arrange a time for delivery once your order is processed and your item is in-stock ready to ship. To make changes to your delivery time or for updates on product delivery lead times, please contact us on 0800 806 608.
